Terms of Use

Last updated 27 July 2026

These terms apply to your use of the VectorQuil website and editor. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

VectorQuil is a browser-based vector graphics editor, currently provided free of charge with no account required. It runs on your device, and features may be added, changed, or removed as the product develops.

You own your work

Anything you create, import, or export with VectorQuil remains yours. We claim no ownership or licence over your designs. Because your files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to us, we do not hold copies of your work — which also means we cannot recover it for you if you clear your browser data or lose your device. Keep your own backups of anything important by exporting it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use VectorQuil to create or distribute unlawful content, or to infringe someone else's intellectual property or other rights
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or its hosting infrastructure
  • Misrepresent the service as your own product, or remove or obscure attribution where it is required

Content you import

You are responsible for having the right to use any file, image, or font you open in the editor. Uploading a font or graphic does not grant you a licence you did not already have; check the licence terms of anything you did not create yourself.

Availability

We aim to keep VectorQuil available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of issues with hosting providers or your own browser and network.

Future paid plans

The editor is free today. If paid plans are introduced, the paid features, pricing, and billing terms will be presented clearly before you are asked to pay, and these terms will be updated. Nothing here obliges you to pay for anything you have not explicitly purchased.

No warranty

VectorQuil is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion and risk — particularly for production or commercial work, where you should verify exported files meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VectorQuil and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost work, lost profits, or data loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

These terms may change as the product develops. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
